Suffolk Business Park

...57 acres of opportunity

An exciting new gateway development at junction 45 of the A14 in Bury St Edmunds.

 

The Park provides new strategic employment land benefiting from major infrastructure improvements including the new Eastern Relief Road.

The Park will be developed to the principals of high quality design within a mature landscaped setting to suit a wide variety of business occupiers.

Suffolk Business Park will become a new thriving commercial area for Bury St Edmunds.

Home to a new Headquarters for Festool, the Park is shortly to be joined by Weerts BV and an exciting new leisure quarter development with a BP Petrol Station and McDonalds and Costa.

Our Masterplan

Suffolk Business Park is being built to a carefully laid out masterplan which is an extension to the commercial area of the town.

 

The design is based on the principles of high quality building design and an attractive and sustainable landscaping strategy.

Zone 1 has been identified principally for office and research and development use. The area will also include facilities for small offices via the development of an office village.

This zone is accessed off General Castle Way adjacent to junction 45 of the A14. 

Already home to a new 25,000sqft HQ for Festool, plots are available for offices and Resesarch & Development

Zone 2 has been allocated for Business Park Facilities and A14 services to include a hotel, public house and a range of restaurants including coffee drive thru.

A BP operated petrol station together with a Budgens Food store is currently under construction and a planning application has been submitted for a McDonalds and a Costa drive thru.

West Suffolk Council has bought Zone 3 of Suffolk Business Park.

It’s part of a wider £12.1m investment by the Council and partners in new incubation units to support locally the growth of the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (AME) sector. 

The Zone 3 sale, will allow the construction of 40,000sqft of industrial units which have the backing of the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership and Suffolk County Council.

A planning application has been submitted for a new circa 45,000m2 warehouse for for Belgian logistics company the Weerts Group.

This new warehouse will cover the whole of Zone 4 and will create some 340 new jobs.

Suffolk Business Park is easily accessible from Junction  45 of A14 and strategically located on the eastern side of Bury St Edmunds. 

The site benefits from major infrastructure improvements which provide excellent road access to the east coast ports and the national motorway network.
